Soledad Pulgar

Soledad Pulgar

Soledad Pulgar rescues objects and places destined for silence, stopping her gaze where humans have interfered with specific purposes, creating unconscious landscapes that are perpetuated in the depths of her retina. Allowing us to participate in her own intimate character, she observes in silence and reflects on the traces we leave behind.

Continuing her creative pattern, the human action studied from the perspective of her photographic thinking will give rise to a new project to immerse oneself in: "Ephemeral Landscapes." In 2004, a mantle of nets descended in front of Soledad Pulgar's windows, an interweaving of iron and fabrics that, far from overshadowing her daily life, opened a new horizon filtered through a volatile chromatic lens at the mercy of the passing hours. Capturing lights and shadows, delving into contrasts, transparencies, and twists, she reveals to us the complexity of the simple, the magic of the ordinary when one learns to see the poetry it holds.
