Roger Olmos explores the realm of monsters in its broadest spectrum, not limiting himself to portraying classic and recognizable figures and iconography, but expanding the range to intangible aberrations that attack us day by day and drag us into the deepest darkness. These include social injustice, human hypocrisy, the premature death of an infant, and more.

Throughout his career, he has predominantly illustrated for a young audience, allowing him to depict politically incorrect situations. This has enabled him to have a healing effect, as if he were "covering wounds with Mercromine" while highlighting the evidence of the disaster by tinting everything red.
